If you sign in, we may collect your name, email address, profile image, account identifiers, subscription status, and related account metadata.
Study Data
We may store saved words, flashcard progress, selected language settings, feature preferences, and other learning state needed to provide the service.
We may also collect limited technical information such as browser or device context, extension settings, diagnostic logs, and feature usage events where needed to operate, secure, or improve the product.
02
Why We Collect It
- To provide translation, grammar breakdown, pronunciation, flashcards, and account features.
- To preserve saved vocabulary, study progress, and settings across sessions.
- To authenticate users and manage subscriptions or premium access.
- To maintain reliability, reduce abuse, debug failures, and improve product quality.
- To send important product, billing, or account notices where appropriate.
03
Text Processing
When you choose to translate text, generate a grammar explanation, or use related language features, Renshi sends the specific content required for that request to trusted third-party processing providers.
We design these flows to send only the content needed for the task. We do not intentionally send your password, payment credentials, or unrelated private account details as part of language-processing requests.

- Payment or subscription processing.
- Language model and speech services used to fulfil requested study features.
05

We do not sell personal information as part of our ordinary business model.

Security And Retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably required to provide the product, meet legal or operational requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete it or de-identify it where practical.
